Naperville's Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon is located just north of Aurora Avenue and at the base of Rotary Hill within the riverwalk park complex. The Millennium Carillon has 72 bells and is one of only four worldwide that spans six octaves. The Millennium Carillon was dedicated in an Independence Day event on July 29, 2000 with a reception attended by over 15,000. The Carillon is both manually and computer-playable with most performances done by hand. Half of the bells are played by a computer-controlled system at set times during the day. The Carillon instrument was dedicated in June of 2000 and Moser tower was opened to the public in the summer of 2007.

Just how high is it? Visitors to the Tower will see an awe-inspiring view of the area when they reach the observation deck, 14 stories up. Moser tower is 160 feet tall, 9 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty. An elevator can take visitors nearly halfway up to a platform where they can enjoy a great view of the surroundings and the largest of the carillon's 72 bells. If you climb eight more flights of stairs you will reach the top.
